The Garden Quilt is beautiful and so realistic. Did you use a pattern or did you make it yourself?

I bought a kit at the LQS--the garden scene was 1 piece of fabric that you cut into 25 squares. Keeping them in order was the biggest challenge of the quilt! I think it was just a kit that the shop put together. The attic window pattern is pretty universal. The kit had all the fabric for the top and binding. I furnished the backing which seems to be pretty common for kits. It did have a sheet of typed instructions on how to put the top together. I suspect "Trish" had done them and had probably taught a class on the topic.

It is a beautiful picture/scenery. I wonder if there is a free pattern download? Anyhow, I do like it.

They are all pretty, but I could sit and look at the Garden Quilt for hours. That is SOOO pretty, and you did such a good job on all of them.

I am very blessed-- have good health, not too many responsibilities, and plenty of time to do "my thing", which currently is quilting! I do include some volunteering, but sewing is really my recreation, so I'm entertaining myself a good portion of the time. I used to wonder how it was possible when I'd read someone left "xx" number of quilt tops when they died. I do try to finish my quilts, but now I can understand how easy it would be to have a lot of unfinished items left in one's sewing room at the end of life.
