    This was mine - I got the brown (from the guild), the yellowy beige & dark green fabrics in the bag, with 3 pieces of embroidery floss & a couple buttons. Her favorite picnic place was the Mojave River, which is all desert. I went online & Googled "Mojave River", then sort of picked a few images that looked the least "dry" to me! I used the buttons & floss & decided they were people floating down the river in inner tubes! It was my first try at a landscape-type quilt.

    Now I want to try lanscape, looks fun. Question do you sew them on a foundation? I wish I could see everyones. Have to go read up on it

    What a fun project!!!! Both the quilts do infact match their intended locations. Thank you for adding the detail shots. It helps us to see how some of this was accomplished. Someday when I grow up, I want to be creative too. :lol:
