    This is an AWESOME quilt! I bought this fabric too and made the mistake of trying to cut it up and totally ruined it . Too bad I didnt see yours first it is great!

    Great job - where did you get your trucking fabric? My DH is an over the road flatbedder and I would love to make him a quilt for his bunk.

    I like this quilt so much - not only for the work you did, but because you used something that means much to your Dad and is full of memories for him. I recently made a quilt using train fabric for a friend who is going through chemo treatments and he called to say how much the quilt meant to him because he has model trains. I now know that using a fabric and embellishments that means something special to the person ( especially men) receiving the quilt really touches their heart and spirit.
