    If you don't think you are a scrappy quilter, give this a try. If you do a controlled block, like shown here, you may find you like it. I had a bunch of 2-1/2" by 12" scraps that were enough to make two 4-patch blocks. And the HSTs were made from leftover charms. And yes, these blocks do need a good pressing!

    she gives excellent clues and directions with lots of photos. they great for anyone to try.

    Nice way of using up some scraps. Might make a good exchange block swap with batiks.
