    I'll give you a way to practice!

    Take out a piece of paper (lined or unlined, doesn't matter)

    get a pen

    Put the pen down on the paper and begin moving it around and drawing.

    Don't pick the pen up, do a continuous line.

    Now start making designs like flowers or jagged edges or flames or stars or swirls.

    Free motion quilting is the same only you're moving the "paper" around under a stationary "pen" know what I mean? Just make a few quilt sandwiches that are 12x12" and practice things like that, just doodle :P You'll pick it up faster than you know!!

    I like it! Isn't it fun to just say...this is my quilt, there are no rules and just have fun! I love your flowers and the squiggly line is a great idea!
