Default Tshirt quilt by my mom with help from me

This quilt was made by my 89 year old mother for her great grandson-in-law's 40th birthday....with some design assistance from me. She came up with an applique design to replace a photo that was too dark to use effectively and sewed it all herself. The 'golfer' applique was found on the internet and we used a small round button for the ball, a shoe string for the club. Colors in reality are much more bright than the photo the recipient took of the quilt.

I have made two T-shirt quilts for my sons. I hope I will be able to sew when I'm 89!
