I am in awe of how fast this technique is. I spent the day in a hospital waiting room all day while hubby had a minor procedure done, (he is doing great), so only had about 1/2 hour in the sewing room when we got home before my hips gave out. (Love my heating pad!!!!) I have blocks done for 3 runners!! I have Wednesday off work, so I should be able to get them finished then.
If you have tried this yet, you are going to love it when you do!!!

I just learned this technique at the Shawnee State Park Retreat in Ohio! We cut five 1 3/4" strips of dark to light and attached them to a dark (instructor used black making an Amish block.) After cutting the 45 degree angles, we ended up with 9" Roman stripe blocks for our quilt. The opposing color blocks (which were not used in the quilt) could be used for a wall hanging, table runner or lap quilt. Great technique!
