Pretty! The tube method is certainly a hit on the board. Everyone will have one for Christmas!

Just beautiful! :-) What is the runner measurements?
Can you tell me how many strip sets the table runners take?
    How long were your strips?
Thanks so much, I need a few more Xmas presents and this would be perfect. :D I need some quick projects.

You can take a square piece of paper and cut it in half diagonally for any sized template, if you do not have a square ruler that is the right size

    Riversong,

Isn't tubing fun and easy? Even I got most of the points right on. Your runner is lovely and festive. Great job.

You can make the strips any size.
The square will grow, depending on the size of the original two strips.
2.5" strips will probably produce a square that would measure 4 and 5/8ths inch.
If you want to make a bigger block, then try cutting beginning four inch strips ... the resulting 2-strip piece would measure 7.5" ... finished size of the square would be 6.75" give or take an eighth of an inch ...
The table topper is terrific, too!
    Good show! <wave>
