    Thanks, all, I learned a lot from this one, for sure: #1, don't be cheap-I used a lousy cheap poyester, hard to quilt, #2, my "points" weren't all there but decided to not chronic about it and #3, thanks re the advice on bindings, I'm definitely going to hand stitch them. For Gingerella, the "tube" quilting method is on Missouriquilt.com or you can search (tube quilts)on this board, there are some beauties out there. Its a kind of neat way to put two 2 1/2 inch strips together and then. right sides together, sew a 4/12 strip, sewing both sides, cut at a degree and end up with these squares that can got together many different ways. check it out on this board!

    Well I can't see anything wrong with it and think it is beautiful! I always hand sew the back of my bindings, too an use those little hair clips instead of pins. Works great.
