What a neat idea! We used to have a book where various animals had to be tucked in bed and my DD LOVED it. Surely your grand daughter loves and treasures this quilt!

The doll pattern is in the book. It's very simple and has a nice and easy technique for piecing. I used "hair" jute and yarn for the hair. Each doll had a different messy, bedhead "do".The quilting pattern is also in there. It's called dancing dolls and is adorable on the border. Thanks for all your compliments. My grand daughter loves it. That's what I was aiming for. A special Christmas, non elctronic, toy.
