I live in AZ too part of the year. Yes, pesky Snowbird. I love these quilts!! Friends made the Wildflower quilt and it's so beautiful. I'm partial to bargello and this just does it for me!! They are both beautiful!! Going to the big Show in Jan? Always go and love it. Come home enthused and exhausted!!
We have a great quilt show. Are you a snowbird that knows how to drive in Tucson? The driving is the biggest complaint of the natives.:)
Do you mean the Snowbird's driving or driving in general?
Put it this way - there's a noticeable difference in driving in Tucson when the snowbirds arrive!
More traffic? I'm a good driver, but some of the older-than-me drivers do drive a tad 'too carefully' if that's what you mean LOL
I know that Tucsonans know that you won't get ticketed until you drive more than 11 MPH OVER the speed limit LOL and I'm usually leading the pack around that corner where Kolb becomes Grant Road!

Hey, we folks in Florida have snow birds too! They're really easy to spot even if you can't see them with their white sox and sandels on because they drive the biggest cars in the fast lane at the slowest speed. They change lanes without looking and they love to sightsee during rush hour! LOL

I know that a lot of drivers are too impatient and I think the only safe thing for me to do is LET THEM GO FIRST because they DO try to beat you to the punch. I would prefer to go steady but I still stick to the speed limit every where I go.
