Hi - there's Quilter's Market on the north side of Speedway between Kolb and Pantano, Bella Quiltworks on the south side of Broadway between Craycroft and Wilmot, The Quilt Basket on Tanque Verde. There's a Walmart on the SE corner of Kolb and Speedway, a Hancock Fabrics on the NE corner of 22nd and Wilmot, and a JoAnn's on the north side of Broadway just east of Kolb. There are some other quilt shops in outer lying areas, but the ones I mentioned are central to the east/SE side of Tucson (my neck of the woods). Have fun and happy quilting! :-D

WOW - thanks so much! Now just have to try to fit them all in on the one trip. Phoenix does have a lot of quilt shops but takes so much traveling in horrible traffic to get to them. Besides the grass is always greener on the other side. It will be something different for us.

All the shops mentioned are fairly close to each other, so you should be able to hit them all in a good half-day. It's always fun to visit diffrerent shops - you never know what you might find. Enjoy!!

I live in AZ too part of the year. Yes, pesky Snowbird. I love these quilts!! Friends made the Wildflower quilt and it's so beautiful. I'm partial to bargello and this just does it for me!! They are both beautiful!! Going to the big Show in Jan? Always go and love it. Come home enthused and exhausted!!

Was the machine embroidery difficult? I have the disk but have not chosen fabrics yet. It just sits there and accusingly because it is being unused (LOL)!
