I really like both of your quilts. I love the colors.

It's amazing what the bargello does to the eye! It looks like rolling waves. So pretty!

Beautiful bargello - and it does look like a Tucson sunset! I'll be back for the winter just after Thanksgiving. I love the sunsets!

All the LQSs you mentioned are great, and I want to put in a plug for Cathey's Sew-Vac, too. Not an LQS - but a dealer for Pfaff, Viking & Brother - with locations on the east side (Speedway near Craycroft) and northwest (I don't remember the street - I live on the east side LOL). Classes almost every day - and they bring in nationally known quilting & embroidery names several times a year for 'sit and sews' at the Sheraton on Grant Road. I've learned so much from both their classes & the 'sit & sews.' Sue Hausman comes at least once every year.

Don't be afraid. Most are not as difficult as they look. That's one of the payoffs of bargello. People think you are a genius if you make one!! I just love to look at one. Sooooooo, give it a try!!
