    Default Tulip blocks

I know there's a lot of gals here that love Lori Holts patterns as much as I do so I thought I'd share with you a block I designed using her tulip block from her Row Along quilt. Wish I could tell you that you could get the tulip pattern for free but she recently took it off her blog. Another wish would be to share my design with you but that would be unfair to Lori. So what I can do is tell you that she will be publishing a new book soon with the tulip pattern in her book. No my block isn't in there but I'm sure that you crafty girls can figure it out. Her new book is Quilty fun available at fatquartershop. Anyway here's my block from her block. I'm thinking a scrappy 2.5 squares for the sashing is just what 12 of these 14 inch blocks needs.

Great block! It's going to be a wonderful quilt. Don't forget to share with us when you finish.

I think a scrappy sashing will look great.
