Simplicity is one of my very favorite lines of fabric! Everything I've seen made in these fabrics is gorgeous. Your quilt is no exception, but then ALL of your quilts are beautiful!

That is sooo pretty. I have two packs of Moda Charm packs and have been debating on what to do with them. I think you made up my mind. How large a quilt are you making?

I'm so new at this and am not right now of the mind to get the calculater out. Somebody please do the work for me so I have more time for reading here on the board - LOL! If only I could so easily request someone come do my housework for the same reason. How large a quilt could I make with 2 charm packs. I have not made any quilts other than 2 rag quilts. I make all kinds of table toppers, purses, etc - fast projects. I'm really probably only interested in making a lap quilt - would that be enough?

    Thanks, Pat

I really love these colors. Great job. Don't you like the tumblers?

I am so much lazier than you lovely quilters. I have a Accuquilt Go and have this tumbler die. It sure makes life a lot easier. The tumbler really goes together very fast.

    Pat,
I really haven't decide yet on how big this one will end up .... probably full or queen size.
If you have 2 charm psacks with 42 pcs each that would roughly get you a quilt 40x40 (finished piece) (using this pattern & with no border).
Add a border and you would have a lovely lap quilt!

Thank you - I really wanted to start with a lap quilt - I'm afraid I'd be too overwhelmed starting a queen size quilt. Besides that, I've done no quilting other than SITD and I'm getting kind of tired of that. Maybe this will be something I can learn on.

I've already given my sweety a picture of the tumbler template I need. He cuts them from plexiglass for me.

Oh, another question. Do you lay out the whole quilt with your charms for a pattern before you start or do you just pick them randomly?

    Again, thanks! Pat
