Would a tumbler that size be fairly large?
I just ordered the one from Missouri Quilt it should get here tomorrow.... I love the tumbler quilts

Mine is going to be 61.5x75. 154 Tumblers needed
    1st boarder is 2" ,
    2nd boarder will be 4"
I ordered 4 charm pack, there will some left and I am planning to make a matching throw pillow with.
Hope this gives you a general idea.

I've already given my sweety a picture of the tumbler template I need. He cuts them from plexiglass for me.
Oh, another question. Do you lay out the whole quilt with your charms for a pattern before you start or do you just pick them randomly?
    Again, thanks! Pat
I usually try to lay them out.
There have been a few times that I didn't and the last 3-4 pieces were the same print

I love the colors and patterns. Makes it look so modern yet old fashioned too.

Tumbler quilts are great, your fabric choice is adorable. Anxious to see the finished top.

Very nice work! I used the tumblers as a boarder on one of my wall hangings so didn't need to worry about matching seams. Keep going and keep us posted :)

Oh that's so neat! I'm working on a queen size bed quit using a 2.5 inch tumbler. :) It's a lot of fun, I've got over 200 blocks all of different fabrics cut and sewn together. I need a ton more, but I'm working on it! I don't plan on adding a border to it, but after quilting just bind with the angles - that looks awesome (IMHO).

Yours is so pretty, so light and airy!

Love it. I just got the MQC email with their 5 and 10 in template in it. I may order the 10" and a couple of their 10" sq packs.
