    Default Tumblers with Moda

Hello Quilters! Today I quilted this top that I pieced before my fall. I used my quilting ruler and quilted 1/4 inch away from all seams. It really went quicker than I imagined. It’s size is 39x55. Thanks to Lisa for providing this beautiful Moda fabric some child of CASA this Christmas will be thrilled! I think this was an enjoyable quilt to make, from beginning to end, using a tumbler ruler my husband made me, from plexiglass. Have a nice day!-Toogie
ps. I am still using the bolt of blue I bought, on all I can, so even though you’ve seen it before, the stitching may show up on the back. The swing always makes a nice picture however when I resize it ends up sideways.🙄

Toogie you did an amazing job with the fabric, it is such a fun line and it is such a wonderful cause, thank you for all you do for them. So glad to hear that you are healing and back to making beautiful quilts.

    Hello Back to you Toogie!
You hit a home run with your colorful tumbler quilt. You are sure to put a smile on some child's face. I know you did mine.
I love the blue backing fabric...of course blue is my favorite color. I'm glad you have recovered from your fall and back to creating your wonderful quilts. Looking forward to seeing more!

I bought a 2 1/2" non-slip Tumbler strip ruler by Creative Grids to make baby/toddler quilts with. It's about the forth item on my bucket list of pattern to do. Will probably get around to it next month. I also have the larger size of this same ruler that I'm wanting to make a bed quilt for myself with... on the bucket list too. I'll probably mix my tumblers up instead of matchng them as you have and add in some Kona snow fabric.
Aren't charity quilts always more fun to make?
