Thank you again, everyone, for all your kind comments. This resurection was brought to my attention by Postal Packin' Mama, thanks.

I still have to do the label, it has not been brought back to me. The baby is doing very well, had a HUGE scare in April, the pediatrician finding a big hole in his heart. So at 6 weeks the little guy underwent open heart surgery. Doc promises the only scars will be on the outside. Amazing, modern medicine!

So hopefully, the quilt will be well loved and serve as a reminder to the little guy how much he is loved and how much we are grateful he is with us.

You did a beautiful job! The colors blend very well. I also like the triangle idea for easier piecing.

How is the little guy you made the quilt for, since his surgery? Hope all is well?

OH oops, I just re-read your post and got my question answered that the baby is doing well. Glad to 'hear' that.

Beautiful. Just saw another with batiks and the split diamond technique in a store and want to try it for a baby shower coming up. Am shaky on machine quilting though. How did you quilt it? In the ditch of the main up-down seams? What color thread?

I love this quilt and hope to make a tumbling block quilt some day...

I am glad the baby is doing well now. The miracles of medicine!
