No templates it was the design in the batik fabric. When I chose it for the border I wanted the cats in the design to stand out so I decided to quilt around each one rather then a traditional all over quilting pattern.

Well, I went back and looked closely at the kitty batik, and this time I DID see the kitty outlines! I guess I thought those were your chalk marks for where you were going to quilt. I really don't think I saw the lines at all the first time I looked! :? Very good use of material! :lol: :lol:

That's the tumbling block method I want to use! Where did you find the pattern and instructions? You've done a great job!
