Tumbling Jacks Quilt
I finally get to post pictures of a quilt I tested, for designer Brenda Plaster at http://spoolandbobbinquilting.com/
I have been waiting not so patiently to see it in my Connecting threads email. It is now available at https://www.connectingthreads.com/tu...lt-kit/p/97233 so now I can show everyone! Brenda only requires me to purchase my own fabric so I usually end up with a totally different fabric line than what it was originally designed with, but it is good to see a pattern in other colors. After I finish it she very kindly quilts it for me and does an awesome job.
This is my version of Tumbling jacks that can be found at Connecting Threads. My DH picked the fabric for the cabin we will be building next year in WI.
I still need to get the binding on this one but the weather up here has been so warm that I have a hard time playing with fabric.
Hope you like the pattern as much as I did, it was a fun one to make, I learned a lot about how things get to the printed pattern and kit stage.

Your design is beautiful and you have put a lot of thought and work into its development. Congratulations on this quilt. It looks as though it was well worth the wait to see in in Connecting Threads and now be able to show it off. Job well done. Thanks for sharing.

That quilt is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with us. What an honor it must be to be selected to make a test quilt for a pattern designer. Just curious as to how one gets to be a test quilter for new patterns. It will look beautiful in your cabin.
