Default Turkey finished in time for Thanksgiving this year

This is last year's UFO. I got it pieced last year, but not quilted. Maybe I was put off by the dark feather behind the turkey's head. I decided to try sewing down the binding with the same blanket stitch that I used on the turkey parts. I'm not sure I like that look. What say you all?

Great!! I wouldn't have even noticed the dark feather!! And the stitch looks fine, too. I don't know if I think it is the best, but that's the way I figure out what I do and don't want to use again. It's perfect and enjoy it this season.
