    Default Turkey Table Runner

Hi there, i made this Turkey Table Runner, i got the pattern from the Magazine Quilting Quickly with Jenny Doan at MSQC her patterns are so easy to follow for a nebie like me. this is my first try at Applique for the turkey i think it turned out pretty good. i plan on doing a stipple FMQ over the whole thing i hope i do not mess that up since i am new at that also. lol I plan on giving this to my MOM for a birthday present next month. this runner is LONG it has another turnky on the other side 5 feet

My picture down loaded inlines all across the page. I had a sudden idea. Using the tail part and chicken you could make an apron. Fan at bottom chicken looking up at owner and that part could be made into a pocket. Or fans at the top or bib and chicken head down poket as well .chicken itself could make a place mat with the squares making small mug mats.

Oh so inspired by our beauiful patter.

Great job! I'm sure it will be a treasured family heirloom! Please, try to share the finished quilting with us...I am relatively new to quilting, too, and haven't tried the FMQ yet.
