sewellie - it is a copyrighted pattern that I use a lot. Can't tell you how many quilts I've made using this pattern. Here is a link discussing ways to recreate it: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...n-t152713.html When they talk about Turning 20 they are just talking about the same quilt made larger - with 20 fat quarters. The ones I have made were Turning 12 - using 12 fat quarters.

I have found Phantom fabric, but am still looking for grown-up dancer and softball fabric - remember these need to be basically red, white, black. I've looked at the softball, but they don't look any different than the baseball I've already bought - just in case I didn't find anything specifically softball. Not sure what I was looking for, but thanks everyone for helping me hunt!

Stalk ebay and try doing an ISO post here. I don't have any left, but this fabric immediately came to mind for ballet - it's Robert Kaufman. http://www.etsy.com/listing/54383631...-ballet-dancer

Wow, what a great idea! I'll bet those students continue their piano long after they leave you....the wonderful memories keep them playing.

I was going to suggest appliqué plus it would be your unique design. Good luck in finding all the fabric. I think it is really neat what you are doing.

quiltingdragon - that is PERFECT. Gotta have it! I've searched and don't find any, but I've put on ISO listing on this board. Thanks!
