    If it were me, I would more than likely go with either a dark golden or warm brown fabric for a small border then maybe a forest green as the binding. You have done a great job - I can't do the random placement either. I may start out that way, then make the changes.

    I'm like you, I have a hard time trying to match colors, I love scrappy too. And, this quilt is very nice.

    Beautiful quilt! I love the colors! You could do it with or without borders! A double border with brown and gold would look nice, as someone else previously suggested.

    For someone who thinks she isn't any good at picking out colors..... You just put 23 or 24 together and they look sorta fabulous! Um, I'm thinking you got it down. So take the top to the store and play with bolts till you see what's right. I'm believing you will KNOW what is right. Trust yourself - though it's always great to ask for our opinions!
