I didn't take anything apart. I would have had to take whole thing apart, some white slashing strips were very tight while others were very full. If you look close at pictures you can see waves in slashing and borders. The borders were 1 1/2" difference in part like one section was 4" then it was 5 1/2" then 4 1/2 all in about 12 inches. This is through all borders.

You did a wonderful job on a 'challenging' quilt. It turned out beautiful.

A-MAZ-ING job! I hope I never do that to a long armer, but, boy, did you rise to the challenge and make a wonky quilt lay flat! You brought out the absolute best in that quilt top! I hope your customer is as over-the-top happy with that as she should be!

Holy buckets, you revived it and made her look like a million. Wonderful job. You get a big gold star for caring so much about her feelings and her work.

Thank's for the reply. Learning more here every day. I'm just in awe at what you did with it, and I hope the sweet lady loves it too (I'm sure she will). Keep up the GREAT work!

You did a wonderful job!! How wonderful you could do this for an elderly person. Your talent will make her feel like a million bucks when she shows this off. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade!!
