    To me this is what quilting is all about - taking a traditional pattern and making it your own by putting a new twist on it - beautiful job, I LOVE it, whatever it's called!

    Looks like an Irish chain to me. Old timers often are very limited on their outlook. Heck I used to think a quilt had to be hand pieced and hand quilted-duh, how stupid I was...LOL
    You made a beautiful quilt with fabrics you love-enjoy your irish chain.

    Thank you for all the encouragement - if you look at my quilts, I am usually somewhat unconvential and sometimes doubt is created by what others say. Hasn't stopped me because for the most part I keep making them.
