    I think as long as you like the green than it should be okay besides you have green trees in the quilt

    It's beautiful and timeless. I have one made from the same pattern. It was an early Thimbleberries pattern that you had to make cardboard templates. Money was tight so I just used a percale sheet as the background. Learned never to do that again. Had to tie the thing as I couldn't get a needle through the tight thread count. Nevertheless, I pull it out every year and put it across an antique chair. It's fun to look back at projects and methods used. Kind of makes you wonder how some of us stuck with it so many years!

    very nice with the green fabric. looks like it belongs there to me. Godd job on finishing it up. and you have a made for me quilt.
