    The twin needles would be great for stitching in the ditch - except you'd be straddling the ditch. Sewing all the long seams on the quilt would catch the seam allowances on both sides of the seam and add strength, especially if a few of your seams are a "little" short of a quarter inch. (yeah, I know a little about that! )

    I might try this to stabilize the next quilt - thanks for the idea!
