Please do show us, so we can see how they coordinate.
I often do similar ... all depends on what I have leftover from the front to use. Sometimes it may be some extra blocks put together from the back. Though, I keep it simple enough that it doesn't compete with the front ... yet more than a plain backing in order to create some interest!

I love it,I piece a lot of my backs,also add block or rows of flying geese etc.The back does not have to coordinate with the front completely.I just try to ad a little of the front.I am sure our GGG didn`t have huge pieces to make the back.
