Twist and turn DP9P

Here is a scrappy quilt top pieced but not bordered yet, that I trialled using some "why did I buy this" fabric (the yucky beige). I found the pattern on the net. It is not a quilt that I like particularly but I it was a learning experience. I mis-laid the pattern for weeks, finally came upon it last week. I was unable to figure out how I had done the blocks so desperately needed to have the pattern to do four more.
Have to decide now which distasteful fabric from my stash to border it with, but I hope it will help lift it whatever I choose. I will probably donate it to Cancer Research or Salvation Army. It's sort of manly I think so may help keep someone warm. Then again it may be an Ugly Duckling scenario and become a beautiful Swan I don't think so!

Your right, it is kind of masculine and I think with the right deep colored borders 2 or 3, will really, really make your quilt sing. I think a dark blue with white then deep red would do the trick and change the look of the quilt to something your may like a lot better. If not, charity and or raffle for charity may be the way to go.
I think you did a great job with your pattern and fabrics, truly.
