    do you pick them up at random or do you plan where each hex will go, by color?

    Oh I get it! The ones on the border are the tips of color that is left over from the spinning stars. Very clever pattern with no waste. I like that.

    where in the world did you find it? i looked everywhere and couldn't find it at all. there all kinds of patterns with that name, but none that resemble yours!

    These are quilts I have made in the last two years. The Twist and Turn and Out of My Depression I quilted myself and I just finished them 2008.

    I picked them up by random mostly. Tried not to get to many colors the same right next to each other.
