This is actually the third pattern I have ever quilted. I started quilting in January with encouragement from my mom. She has been quilting for about 3 years.
I took a bunch of scrap pcs and did 4 rows of the pattern. It's enough to give you each step of the quilt and build confidence. You can do it. :)

Thank you for your feedback.
I learned a lot on this quilt. I used an adhesive spray for the top and backing to the batting. I will never use it again for such a large project. Because I used the spray adhesive I didn't use that many pins and fabrics shifted. Next quilt if I use 25 pins I'm putting in 25 more just to play it safe.
Next time I will spend a few extra dollars and buy better material for the backing. The backing on this is quite thin. It also didn't hold it's shape so once it was stretched it stayed that way.
When doing top-stitching on white on white. I will NEVER Ever use a light pink washable pencil again. I had to wash it twice and the second time I used Oxy Clean to get the pink out. I hope this helps any other beginner like me.
Enjoy quilting and laugh at your mistakes. I can smile now that it's done. LOL
