Love your Twisted Log Cabin! I downloaded the info. from the 2 sites you supplied. Thank you. I may never make that quilt because I have trouble paper piecing. I have no sense of direction. (In an unfamiliar place I always have to stop awhile and get my bearings before I take a step.) This handicap seems to spill over into assembling items that I've purchased and also into paper piecing. The first and only time I tried paper piecing was torture. I never give up on anything so managed to complete several small blocks which I incorporated into a bed quilt. Why am I telling you this, you ask? Because I am VERY impressed with your excellent Twisted Log Cabin; thank you for sharing.

But I am very pleased. Perhaps I will enter it into the annual Fair contest in September or October.
    congrats!!!

I have loved this pattern ever since I first saw Simply Quilts. When the patterned was demo-ed on the show, I knew I'd never have the patience to make it! And I love to foundation piece! I think yours is BETTER than the one on SQ, and you definitely deserved to win. Keep entering - you'll probably keep winning!
