Very beautiful!! I have seen the Storm at Sea before, but not the hearts. I love the hearts. I would use a small red border or binding in red.

What is the Mariner's Compass pattern on your avatar? I love it! Are you in Arkansas?
    Thanks, Kathy P, Texas

That is darling. What a perfect wedding gift. I personally would use only black and white to finish the border. That would only enhance the red hearts even more. Good luck and best wishes to the newly weds!!

For what it's worth I would put on black border and binding. Let the hearts really stand out!

That quilt is amazing. Can't believe how quickly you put it together. The bride is one lucky girl to get this quilt.

Thanks Quilting Nonnie for the threads. I took a look at the book, what possibilities! I've had this pattern on my "to do" list for some time, will have to do some thinking as to what I can do with it. I love Delta's double hearts, as a wedding gift, it's just perfect!
Delta, have you decided how you're going to quilt it? I really want to see this one finished!
