    beautiful! I like the floral in the larger square in your 2nd quilt. I am not sure why - simplistic?? unexpected?? It works great! though.

    both are wonderful.... I have not yet tackled a Double Irish Chain but it's on my list. Yours is wonderful.

    Both quilts are really beautiful, you did a great job. I'm bad about doing mystery quilts, as I want to wait until it is done to pick out colors, etc., which I know is not the idea, although I have done a few in my lifetime, and I got beautiful quilts.
