    These were both gifts. The first was well received. The second, although I think he will be very happy with it, I'm not sure as it is still on its way to him. It was my first attempt at an art quilt, and was quite enjoyable. I'm normally strictly a traditional "piecer" :)

    quilt for co worker - who loved it!

    They are both beautiful.

    I prefer making art quilts to the traditional ones although I do both.

    Wow! Very very nice.

    Some day I will have the nerve to attempt an art quilt! I just finished a book called "the Girl Who Stopped Swimming" and it was about an art quiltmaker who lives in Pensacola - where I live!

    Both are beautiful!!!! I envy anyone who can make an "art" quilt!! I feel I'm doing good if I can just get my blocks to go together half way straight :roll:

    I love both of them, I love to rise to the challenge of conformity in traditional piecing, but on the other hand I appreciate the freedom art quilting gives you :D

    You have done a great job on both of them. :D

    Your dad will love it tooo:D

    Love both but my fav is the Art quilt for your Father . I am sure he will love it .
