Default Two latest quilts

The red and white quilt was made for my youngest granddaughter Olivia's Christening. It was my second attempt at flying geese and yet again the geese ended up with no heads. One day I will find a method I that works for me . It's Similar but different to the pink and white one I made for her little cousin.
The nautical quilt was made for a little boy in Perth Australia. The flags are pockets and they spell his name - Ben. My little grandson Jacob (4mths) who is home on holiday with his mummy was quite intrigued with Granny's sewing machine and 'helped' do bits of it. The quilt is for one of his little friends.

I love your quilts. I love the combination of embroidery and quilting. I also love the chevron fabric for the background in your nautical quilt. Very clever!

Interesting concept - geese with no heads. Think we all have been there.

Cute quilts! Love your embroidery and the white fabric with gold in it. You just need to rename your flying geese triangles...pine trees. There, problem solved.

Very pretty. One time I was pp'ing and had beautiful geese. When I folded the corners back to trim, something happened and when I unfolded, I had accidentally cut their wings off. So I had a goose with a great head, but no wings at all. We have all done something that is memorable for sure!
