    Thank you! It felt great to do something with my drawer full of strips. They aren't doing anyone any good in that drawer.

    Teen, no. I think you are thinking of a string quilt, with a paper foundation. Strip Twist is a pattern you can find on Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville site, under the free patterns tab. If you alternate lights and darks it has a cool optical effect.
