YOUR PROJECTS LOOK GREAT! WHEN I PURCHASE FABRIC I USUALLY ASK FOR AN EXTRA 1/2 YARD TO ALLOW FOR SHRINKAGE! IF PURCHASING A PRINT WITH REPEATS, I HAVE MY TAPE MEASURE TO SEE HOW FAR APART THE REPEATS ARE. THEREFORE I LIKE TO BE SAFER THAN MORE SORRY! AN ACQUAINTANCE OF MINE WORKED AT A FABRIC STORE AND ONE OF HER CO-WORKERS (A NEW EMPLOYEE) WOULD ALWAYS FUDGE A LITTLE ON YARDAGE. UNBEKNOWNST TO THE NEW EMPLOYEE SHE WAS BEING WATCHED AND REMEASURED. SHE NEVER HAD ACCESS TO THE REGISTER SO THE ASST. MGR REMEASURED THE YARDAGE. BY THE END OF ONE WEEK THE NEW EMPLOYEE HAD "GIVEN AWAY 5 -6 YARDS" OF MATERIAL BY FUDGING. IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF HER PAYCHECK OF 20 HOURS A WEEK. LUCKILY THE MATERIAL WAS AT DISCOUNT BUT EMPLOYEE LOST HALF HER PAYCHECK. A 6" FUDGE DOES AT UP. tHAT'S ALMOST A 1/4 YARD.
