I wonder how you managed to keep your straight lines so straight. Do you only go forward? Your quilting is beautiful, but DS and I find that straight lines are a bear because the machine is so unwieldy going backward. And thanks for the three stitches in place hint. We sometimes wind up with loose threads where we end and go somewhere else to start.

BTW, both quilts are beautiful; quilting and all.

I took some advice from a a thread I started a while back. Now, I lower my bar down to where it is snug against my machine. That makes the machine more stable and keeps it from just moving where it wants too or jerking it one way or another. You have to put forth a little more effort to move it. But, it really helps to stay in control. You can adjust the "tightness" of the fit which in turn adjust the amount of pressure that is on your machine which adjust how much effort you have to use to quilt. You don't want it too tight or it is difficult to move and then you jerk it. Once you play with it, you will find the spot you need.As you roll, you will have to re-adjust.
