    Default Two more door hangings

My mom is in assisted living, and she likes something on her apartment door. I make these small quilts and change them often to give her and the other residents something to look at. The little Amish girl was made from a pattern called Amish Girl by Quilterarm Designs. I made the pattern smaller to fit the size I wanted it to be. I have had the solid fabrics in my stash for a long time. The pink is a little brighter in the picture than it really is, but you can get the idea.

The second one is an embroidery design called Spooky Cat from Digit-it Designs. It stitches out so cute. I used scraps and leftovers for the borders and binding. I don't know which one I will hang up next for her. They are a great conversation starter for her and the other residents. I hope she likes them.

Both are cute but the cat is crazy out of this world. I would love to make that for my DD but I don't do embroidery.

Love them both. Definitely, a door and day brightener.

Your mom must have a fine sense of humor! Sure am enjoying your efforts to decorate your mom's door. Fun for her of course but also the staff and other residents.

Both are cute, Mary. I'm sure your mom and the others who pass by her door will enjoy them.
