Here are the first 2 that I have done, or at least the tops. I was thinking about another border but I think I am just going to bind the black and grey one with black and the brown and yellow one with yellow. What do you think?
The second pic is the quilt top I taught my dd on the weekend. She is planning on bordering it with chocolate brown or maybe a small border of the light and then the chocolate, not sure yet. But am very proud of her accomplishments, she is 21 and this is only her third quilt, one reversible and one rag quilt before this.

I love making these kinds of quilt, jars. I've got two candy jar tops done. One on the frames. But it has to warm up before I can go up and quilt in the other house.
I've been collecting bugs, candy, fruit, veggies, whatever I think will look good in the jars. Even things like pretzels, chips, tortilla chips.
    You did a great job!

Love all your work. I have a bug jar quilt cut out now. Going to put it together this weekend at a retreat.

I love them all. I have my fabrics for my 'jar' quilt but I just could not make up my mind if I wanted black or a colored background. Having your two to look at the same time helped me to decide. I am doing one with black and another one with tan or gray background. Now wasn't that easy?? You did a beautiful job. All of my fabrics are fruits and vegetables from RJR Farmer's Market. Now I can't wait to get started. Thanks!!!
