I like the directional flow of the first block too.

    Patterns are suggestions anyway.

We can alter them for our tastes.

Where did you get the calendar that has those blocks?

I would like to purchase one.

Have a wonderfully blessed day creating more pretties for us to see.

That's it Henry!!! You need to evict one of your neighbors so that I can move next door to you. That way I will have continual motivation to create new blocks. I could probably even do some of the hard ones without drinking copious amounts of wine. Or - I could come drink your wine. Please evict the neighbor that has the least amount of yard work. That will take away from my sewing. Oh, and a jacuzzi would be nice too. BTW, your blocks rock :) :)

    Thanks Everybody :)

The blocks are out of the quilt calendar I picked up at Joanns several months back.

It is called Quilter's Block-A-Day Calendar by Debbie Kratovil. It is also available on CD.

The Dec 6 block is called Double Four Patch
The Jan 27 block is called Totem Pole

I like them both. And really like the spin you put on them. Great job Henry.
