    Default Two new tote bags

I took a chance on a sealed clear bag of fabric at the thrift. (I was in love with the 2 fabrics which showed on the outside and they were really nice.) But turns out there was a lot of nylon inside the bag. Also the black and white fabric which I made these tote bags from. It's a heavy synthetic and I wasn't sure what to do with it at first. Then I realized I had exactly enough for 2 tote bags.

I made them the same yet different. They are both FMQ'd. One has blue lining with a pocket. That one has quilt batting in the middle which makes it a bit floppy. The other one is unlined so the FMQ shows and has felt as a batting which gives it more body.

    Thanks for looking!

Both look very nice, glad to know about the felt, wanna try that. I just made a tote, but made it too tall, used heavy interfacing and batting, and it still won't stand up! Bout to cut the bottom off, and re-do it shorter.

I use a thick felt, have no idea where I got it. I worry a little about the washability (??) of it, but I love the way it makes the bags stand at attention.
