This started out as my DSIL asking me to do a tshirt quilt for her from her marathon tshirts, and no, I have never done one before, but, I got lots of info from here on the board. I had asked for help with trying an Irish Chain for this on Oct 11'11 but couldn't quite get my head around the math so I went with a snowball/nine patch combination. We had discussed colours (blue and white) and I gave her my website to see my other quilts. So, off to the races I go. I got the top almost done and callled her the following weekend to see the size she wanted. She informs me that she really loves the black and white my DGD and I made. Well now what to do? I had a few blocks left over from DGD's quilt and really only had to make 64 more so I thought....Why Not? I missed their 25th Anniversary 2 years ago due to personal conflicts and now they get an Anniversary quilt as well. They are coming for supper tonight and I can hardly wait to see their expressions.
