Both are great, they remind me of a stained glass window filled with so many beautiful colors.

    Haven't convinced him yet.
That is interesting - my Husband is a woodworker by trade and his precision with tools was one of the reasons he felt confident to give quilting a go.

We often joke about what you can do with fabric versus what you can do with wood (can't stretch a piece of wood to fit if you cut it a 16th short!!!)

The squares are all 2 1/2 inch - I used loads and loads of scraps up on this!

Just started cutting squares out of anything big enough in my scrap bags!!

I have a Bernina 180, a 630 and an old 807. I also have a Singer Feather weight, and a cheap machine from a supermarket. PLUS a selection of old singers including a treadle!

BUT - he took some of my machines over to England for servicing last year and bought himself a very old Bernina 807 the mechanic had got in as a part exchange. I had seen it when I was there and I knew it was IMMACULATE - so now he has his OWN machine and its fab!!!
