Two recent finishes
Hey all,
Here are two recent finishes. They were both UFOs. The pillow was a block that I made thinking to do a whole quilt and then set it aside for several years. When I pulled it out of the pile, I realized I didn't want to do a whole quilt, so it became a pillow. The postage stamp quilt has been sitting around in 4 patch units for probably 10 years, it's about 36" x 39" and it's Done! LOL
Thanks for looking,
Rob

pattern for colorful pillow?
I just love the colorful pillow! Is there a pattern for that? did you quilt it on a brother 1500s? I love the look - I'm trying my hand with 12wt on mine. In the process of getting some new parts ( I just bought it 2nd hand ) when I get my needle plate I'm going for it ! thanks for the share.

Thanks everyone!
KurmanQuilter- The pattern came with a bunch of fat quarters that I purchased and I have lost it over the years. It was pretty simple as I recall, the main thing was getting the right colors to put together. I quilted it on my Sweet 16, though it could easily have been done on the PQ which was my main quilter for a number of years before I bought the Sweet 16. I also bought the PQ1500s second hand, they are a bargain. I still use mine every day- it's my main piecing machine and has seriously helped me improve my accuracy. It is excellent at FMQ as well. I found that it was not at all picky about threads, etc. Have fun with yours!
