I've been working on this almost exclusively for days!! It's a whole lot of piece and a whole lot of little blocks.
The two rows are sewn and one center strip is sewn to one of the block rows. I decided that I'm going to do the two rows of 4-patch blocks around the three outside edges of this half before sewing it to the other half. There's no need to wait until the whole body is together to do the border since it's all blocks anyway and I won't have to wrestle with the entire quilt.
The three blocks on the top of the right strip are what the first row will be and it finishes off the circle shape. The next row will be black-on-black batiks, also done in a 4-patch.
