    Default two small charity quilts

When I first started quilting 5 years ago, I swore I would never give any of my quilts away because it took too long to make one. I got over that eventually and have felt good about making some that I gave away, but I always used fabric from my stash or scraps.

Just this year I have decided to buy fabric for charity quilts, concentrating on boy and girl youth quilts....or at least for now.

I just finished one and have the top for a second. I am pleased with each...which is rare for me. My quilts rarely turn out the way I see them on the design wall in my head.

Very nicely done! And your first one even has a 3D look to it! I love making quilts to share with others who need a hug.
