Default Two Unquilted Table Topper Tops... 30's Repo Fabrics

I was trying out this pinwheel I found on the Quilter's Cache site. It fit the bill for a vintage-looking pattern for some of my 30's reproduction feedsack fabrics I've been dying to use. I made the tops for two little table toppers (25" square). I tried one with a mixture of colors on each pinwheel (with the yellow sashing), and one with monochromatic pinwheels (with the red sashing). Which do you like better?

I love both! Maybe you could treat the four blocks as one and incorporate both sashing colors into one quilt.... make sense? So the first row would be red, yellow, red, the second row would be yellow, red, yellow.. and so on. I would hate to have to choose! But those are beautiful!

Those are very pretty and I think they are both equally pretty.

Both are great. I tend to lean towards the second one. But I like both.

That's a cool idea for a quilt... I'll have to remember that. But these are done, just small table toppers.

I love the fabric. Both toppers are pretty, but I favor the first one. I love "scrappy".

I like the mixed color the better of the two.
